Who we are

Clearcoat Digital is a trading name of Pure Gloss Ltd (company no. 15487280), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. Pure Gloss Ltd is the data controller for information collected on this site. ICO registration number: ZC101567. Contact: hello@clearcoatdigital.co.uk.

What we collect

• Enquiry and onboarding forms: your name, business name, email, phone, website and the details you choose to give us about your business.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. We see your name, email, billing and delivery address and what you bought. We never see or store your full card number.
• Emails you send us.

This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and send your site inspection (legitimate interests).
• To deliver the services and products you've bought and take payment (performance of a contract).
• To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation).

We don't sell your information or add you to marketing lists without asking.

Who processes it for us

• Netlify (website hosting and forms)
• Stripe (payments and subscriptions)
• Shopify (order fulfilment for PureGloss coating deliveries)
• Microsoft 365, supplied through GoDaddy (email)

Some of these providers process data outside the UK under approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become work are deleted after 12 months. Client and payment records are kept for 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to, as UK law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email hello@clearcoatdigital.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
